Apple suddenly announced the release of red limited edition models of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The promo commemorates Apple’s partnership with (RED), a campaign that fight against HIV and AIDS through branding products of major companies with the red dye.
Thus, in every purchase of a red iPhone, the proceeds will directly benefit HIV patients particularly in sub-Saharan African. The money raised for the campaign will go to HIV research in which (RED) hopes for an AIDS-free generation.
The red special edition iPhone 7 will cost 877$ USD (43,990.00 PhP) for a 128 GB storage and $996 USD (49,990.00 PhP) for a 256 GB storage. Meanwhile for iPhone 7 Plus, of course is expected to be more expensive: $1016 USD (50,990.00 PhP) for 128 GB and $1136 USD (56,990.00 PhP) for 256 GB. Orders will start on March 24 at 11:01 p.m.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are not the only products with a red twist. Apple fans also have the option to buy red leather case accessories which is available for iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE. A red silicon case is also available for iPhone 7 and iPhone 6s models.
Apple also sells red Apple Watch Sport Band for $53 USD (2,690.00 PhP) for both 28mm and 42mm. In addition to the bloody devices, the iPod shuffle, iPod nano, and iPod touch also enjoys the red hue.
Red silicon casing is also available for iPad Pro and iPad mini. Smart cases are also available for iPad Pro, iPhad mini 4, and iPad Air 2.
Other announcements from Apple includes boosting the storage for iPhone C and improvement of their tablets, not to mention that the price are dropping.
