Hacking is not only limited to banks and top secret information agencies. They will also invade the gaming industry too.
The latest data breach affected players of Xbox and PSP endangering more than 2.5 million gamers. The attack happened last September 2015 hitting those who were playing using the Xbox 360 and PSP ISO.
Unable to store financial details on their Xbox and PSP account is a bit of relief. However, important information such as passwords and username can be used to break in to other accounts. Some people just use the same username and password for all the account they use in order to keep them away from forgetting.
According to IT security specialist, Mark James, websites that are not known for having financial treasure seem have low security measures. They usually forget that most users repeat the same logins for different accounts.
“Using the same password and username in different sites is bad idea”, said Jonathan Sander of Lieberman Software. He added that if Xbox and PSP people don’t know the danger of using the same username and password, it would be game over for them.
