Google has always been featuring different doodles on its webpage in every special occasion. For this year’s Valentines Day, they showcase a cute game “Pangolin Love”.
Playing the game is very simple. It is like playing a 2D Sonic Crash video game, but instead of having a blue hedgedog, a red pangolin takes the main role. The pangolin rolls over the slopes to collect items before clearing the game. Game performance is graded through stars — 3 being the highest if the perfect score is attained.
Pangolin Love is based on a love story of two pangolins on a long distance relationship. For Valentines, the male pangolin decides to visit his lover, however, he panics because he is not able to prepare for a present. Before meeting his lover, he went to Ghana to collect cacaos for a chocolate cake, to India to learn how to play music, to China to learn how to dance, and to the Philippines to collect flowers.
These four countries were part of his journey. Apparently, these places are also four stages of the game. The difficultly raises as the game progress making it hard to ace a perfect 3-star rating.
Towards the end of the storyline, the male pangolin was able to bake a chocolate cake, to learn how to play music and dance, and to provide a bouquet of flowers. However, [SPOILER ALERT] he carried all these items on the same time and stumbled on the slope. All the items went to waste, but for the female pangolin, the presence of her lover is enough. They both enjoyed the day with music, dance, and flowers while sharing a chocolate cake.
