What if shopping is easy as walking into a store, grab what you want and then just go?
This is the Amazon’s vision four years ago. Now it is a reality.
Amazon introduces, “Amazon Go” – an app that will revolutionalize shopping into shopping as convenient as going inside a store and leaving afterwards like getting food inside the refrigerator.
The key is using the most advanced AI technology – “Just Walk Out Technology”- the will record all the purchased item directly to the credit card or an monetary account.

Albeit its upcoming implementation in the US, allow me to evaluate some points based on my limited perspective.
First of all, lets talk about payments. I assume Amazon Go requires a credit card or a bank account in order for a customer to buy something. The same pros and cons of credit cards apply, although it is more convenient than a credit card because you just your phone app to enter.
As a perquisite too, the app requires a competitive smartphone to keep everything in check. Hopefully it does not require that much.
I also observe that “Amazon Go” somehow imitates “Pokemon GO” in terms of naming sense. Probably they need the word “Go” to attract public attention from the big Pokemon GO population.
I think this feature will be enjoyed only in the US for the time being since the regular Amazon is even that practiced in other countries especially in the Philippines. Amazon Go will be a luxurious far beyond our reach.
I have to give credit though. Amazon hits the technology spotlight these months with the introduction of the voice assistant “Alexa” and Amazon GO.
