The title sounds crazy but it’s true.
A story of a minor in the Philippines circulated in social media outlets like Facebook about his tragic death. Here is the actual news in Bisaya.
Because of the online game Clash of Clans (COC), a young man from Saint John, Bucana, Davao City cut his throat.
The victim was assisted with medical attention by Central 911 and rush to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) after suffering from his wound on his neck.
The identity of the lad, “Barcher” (not his real name), is protected under the rights of being a minor.
The information was gathered by 91.5 Brigada News FM about how the victim was being assisted. According to the family of Barcher, the reason behind the Barcher’s dropping out from school is possibly because he caught into trouble with one of his “clanmates” because they were lost during the “clan war”. The feeling of being at fault of the lost could be the reason why he commited suicide.
The victim was just found out prostrating and bleeding and for the time being, however, he is taken care of the doctors in SPMC.

Now, do you really think Clash of Clans is this addictive that children make a big deal out of it? If you ask me, it is not the game (COC) that made him do it. It is the pressure he got from his peers. Such is the effect of bullying — tragic psychological damage.
