Talking about balancing, Clash of Clans seems to lost its original balance since the December 2015 update. Supercell introduced the Eagle Artillery which makes the new Town Hall 11 seems bases impenetrable. Another thing is the shield system which caused a lot of mess. Let’s not talk about that.
Let’s talk about how COC attempts to correct their mistakes.
- The Eagle Artillery now deals 3x damage to Golems and Golemites
- Second Air Defense unlocks now at Town Hall 6, third at Town Hall 7
I cannot comment much to the additional feature of the Eagle Artillery since I did not reach Town Hall 11 yet. By the way it goes, it seems that a raid that involves Golems is the way to go to annihilate everything. If Golems and their Golemite babies takes much more damage from the ultimate siege defense, that will give birth to new attack strategies and army combinations.
The Air Defense update for Town Hall 6 and Town Hall 7 is a pain in the ass. Why should Supercell implement that. Before, there was no problem for Town 6 and 7 to get 4 stars in the wars. Now, the ultimate all dragon raid or balloon raid during wars might have a big problem during wars. Three lighting spells will be futile in insuring a 3-star victory.
This is terrible. Supercell should see into this problem and focus more on the changes on higher Town Hall levels.
