CAPTCHA is an acronym that stands for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart”. A CAPTCHA image is composed of distorted letters generated only on that particular time. Do you remember those times when you register a new email or account of an online game? The code you input proves that you are truly human.
CAPTCHA has been a promising tool to designate humans from bots. Sometimes, on online games, it could be very annoying better a CAPTCHA code requires you access from time to time in the middle of a fierce battle. It can be very distracting to most of the times. That is one thing I really don’t like about the CAPTCHA.
Another thing, as the Tynan mentioned, CAPTCHA can be very distorted that it is no longer legible. It has no consideration to people who has bad eyesight, dexlesia, or color blindness. The situation can be more confusing because the symbols look alike. A small letter a can look like a number 5.
If developers are planning to use CAPTCHA images still on the future, please remove the feature that blocks a user from access on the site. Sometimes the CAPTCHA can indiscriminately reject the malicious individuals from the sincere technology outcasts.
