Last week, Apple launched the iPad Pro. It symbolizes that Apple humbly admit that Bill Gates right about the tablet which means their founder, Steve Jobs was wrong all along. Steve Jobs was turning down the first Windows tablet as “stupid” because it has a stylus. He rejected the whole stylus concept when he launched the iPhone.
The iPad Pro was technically an Apple version of the Windows Tablet. Instead of a stylus, they have this “iPencil”. Remember that almost all of the Apple products are mere evolutions of the iPod. For example, the iPhone is an iPod with a phone capability.
The problem of Microsoft is that when they released the Windows tablet, they were not able to capture what the users really wanted. Apple was successful in selling their products because of better analysis of the users’ focus. However, Microsoft is ahead of the race with their Surface Pro because it has something that Apple was missing.
That missing piece is what make Bill Gates right over Steve Job’s prejudice. The competition in the technology market still continues though. This feud created a very healthy environment for new awesome products to be available in the market.
