The Google alphabet surely makes us hungry. Except for the first two versions of the Android OS, the rest of the the list triggers our sweet tooth. Let’s take a look at the history of these yummy desserts:
– Ice Cream Sandwich
– Jelly Bean
So, we are at the letter “M”. Just today, Google unveils a Marshmallow statue at their campus in Mountain View. It is really cute. I have to admit.

Sugar overload! Google played it well. Who doesn’t like marshmallow anyway? For now, I am imagining that fluffy food melting in my mouth or sticking it on a branch while roasting it above the embers of a bonfire. My mind is lost to that sweet scent. I know you are imagining too.
If you want a more technical note, here is something coming from the Android Developer blog:
Whether you like them straight out of the bag, roasted to a golden brown exterior with a molten center, or in fluff form, who doesn’t like marshmallows? We definitely like them! Since the launch of the M Developer Preview at Google I/O in May, we’ve enjoyed all of your participation and feedback. Today with the final Developer Preview update, we’re introducing the official Android 6.0 SDK and opening Google Play for publishing your apps that target the new API level 23 in Android Marshmallow.
However, Android Marshmallow is still available for preview. There is no word yet when is the official release of the software.
