Mark March 7 as the Official iPad 3 Announcement
For those who have been patiently waiting for the iPad 3 launch, after all those rumors, speculations and analysis Apple has finally confirmed that it will be announcing revealing the iPad 3 on March 7, 2012, 10 AM PST. The event will be held in Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. So mark that calendar.

“We have something you really have to see. And touch.” was the invitation to the press. Fingers are crossed for those hoping to see a retina display in the iPad 3. In fact Gizmodo thinks it might be the case as seen in the photo below.

Aside from the Retina Display, speculation about a quad-core and LTE are also eagerly being hoped for. We do only have one week before all these would be confirmed or unconfirmed.
