While looking at the Google Trends, I noticed “Jon Bon Jovi dead”taking the number one spot in Google’s top trends for today.Upon reading it, I began to think of how many famous people in the 80’s and 90’s are dying one by one. Then I thought about all the 40 year-old females who were Jon Bon Jovi’s admirers. They might be wailing right now or there must be another one of those tribute walls just like the one the made for Michael Jackson. But before I got ahead of myself, searched out the details of his death. Oh well, it was just another hoax which spread first in Twitter, then in Facebook. So Jon Bon Jovi was not dead. Someone must be laughing right now.
The source of the hoax,dailiynewbloginginternational, claimed that the death of Jon Bon Jovi was caused by cardiac arrest. The post even detailed the time of death . These very detailed claim of Jon Bon Jovi being dead was the main reason why it spread like fire in the internet. According to a photo in NJ.com, he,

Of course it’s never funny when someone makes this type of prank and announces to the whole wide world that you are dead. So I guess it’ll be a long time before we hear or read Jon Bon Jovi actually dead but of course I do not wish him to be dead.
