As consumers are plagued by the recent bug found in the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus, updates were readily promised by Samsung to deliver the needed fix. It was reported among many users, that the phone experiences volume jumps when it while using the 900MHz 2G band. Samsung said that the issues can be fixed with a software update, and that the fixed units can be shipped next week. However, an on going thread at xda-developers have conducted tests and suspects that the problems is hardware because the problem still persists even at boot-loader mode.
Google and Samsung released statements that they have acknowledge the problem and will be releasing an update for it. Whatever that means, we hope that it will definitely solve the problem the Nexus is experiencing.
