This fun application was first introduced in August, 2008 and the upgraded and improved version was released in January 2, 2009 by the iPhone application developer Nico Becherer. The Face Melter application is one of the craziest entertainment applications available on iPhone. The application modifies and generates hilarious facial expressions out of any picture.
The Face Melter application gives you ample scope to do a little artwork on a picture of your friend or your dearest family member. You can do loads of modifications to an existing image simply by touching your iPhone screen with your fingers. Touching, dragging, wiping and pinching are the basic finger actions, with which you can create these funny melting images. With this application, you can make a sad face brighten up with a big smile, or you can enlarge the size of your friend’s nose and make him look like a walrus!

Along with the whole range of features from the older version, the upgraded version of Face Melter offers some new features that add to the fun factor of the application. On Face Melter, you can edit images that already exist in your iPhone image library or can take from the camera roll. You can also use images directly from the camera. After you have modified the image, you can save the file and use it later to have some fun with your friends.
This fascinating image manipulating application also supports animation. You can actually animate these deformed images breaking it into 25 frames per second. It is simply hilarious to see a nice picture of your best friend melt and distort within few seconds and turn into the funniest image you could ever imagine. To undo your modifications, simply wipe you finger across the portion you want to restore. To undo the entire distortions of the image, just shake your iPhone in an up and down motion. The Face Melter application uses the built-in accelerometer technology to complete the entire undo action.
