it happened in Pittsburgh. Andre Hall returned after a week of holiday vacation to find the foreclosed home he purchased for his family had been demolished. Hall had begun making repairs to the home and planned to move in with his girlfriend and her children.
“It’s just a crushed dream,” Hall said. “I always wanted a piece of Pittsburgh. I finally got it. Now it’s gone.”
Hall has paper work from the city, including a letter from the city building inspector telling the contractor not to demolish the house.
